Welcome to Walk for Water 2017
David and I are excited to Walk for Water this year! Every day millions of people have to walk miles and miles just for water. Most of the time, the water they find is contaminated; making them ill and often resulting in death. Water Missions International is changing lives, one community at a time, through their sustainable safe water solutions.
Each dollar raised by this event is going to make an impact through a safe water community development project! We have had the privilege of being a part of life changing water systems at Miss Agnes' orphanage in Jinja, Uganda, Pastor Henry's church in Jinja, Pastor Frederick's church in Jinja and Pastor Mathias' church in Jinja. Several of these systems are fed from the Nile River! Systems have also been set up at Pastor Henry's church on the north shore of Haiti, Pastor Boston's church in Kabwe, Zambia, Pastor Walter's church in Siaya, Kenya and Pastor James' church in Nairobi. A school and a hospital in Nairobi now have clean water from the work done by Water Missions and Kelly Green Global. Right now about 10 kilometers outside of Siaya, a new well is being dug by hand. When water is finally reached, and a water system is put into place, 10,000 gallons of clean water will be available every single day. At this point, this system needs funding. Won’t you consider being a part of saving lives?
Thank you so much for your support and your help in saving lives!
