Where should I park?
Parking lots are available on CSU campus. Please see the link at the bottom of the home page which shows where the lots are, and which are free or require a small parking fee. We also encourage taking the MAX, walking or riding your bikes to get to the Walk for Water.
How long does the Walk for Water take?
The Walk is approximately 3 miles, which takes about an hour to complete.
What is this event like?
After opening ceremonies, every participant will take a bucket (provided at the event) and begin to walk a three mile route. Half way through the route, walkers fill their bucket with dirty water and carry it back to the park where they will run it through a water filtration system. The Walk is symbolic of the walk that women and children make every single day to collect unsafe water. There will also be a variety of family-friendly activities both before and after the Walk.
Do I have to fill my bucket to the top?
You can fill the bucket to your desired level. If you do not feel you can complete the walk with a bucket, you are welcome to walk without one.
Is this event suitable for children?
Yes. This is an event for all ages. It is engaging, informative and impactful.
Can I join a team after I’ve already registered?
Yes. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to be added to a team.

Yes. Check yes to the volunteer question during registration. To learn more, email Derek Varns at email@example.com.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted at this event. Some of the walk is pretty narrow along a busy street, and we don’t want anyone’s four legged friends getting hurt!
